O'Beirne Deposed Part 2: Dobranski's Employment

AveWatch has Part 2 of the Kate O'Beirne deposition in the Ave Maria Law faculty lawsuit. This installment is about O'Beirne's lack of knowledge and failure to inquire about Dean Bernard Dobranski's personal employment contract with Tom Monaghan. AveWatch explains that the ABA standards make clear that a dean shall be responsible to the governing board, and yet O'Beirne "admits knowing nothing about even the most fundamental aspects of the Dean's contract, his performance reviews, his salary adjustments, his goals as an employee of the institution, nor his numerous private reports and meetings with Tom Monaghan."

It is incredibly discouraging to see O'Beirne, who was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the governance of Ave Maria as an independent Catholic law school, fail so completely in her duty.
